Dear Aspirants, In the TNPSC Combined Technical Services Examination, the subject you will write is determined by your qualification. 👉 ITI Trade Certificate Holders: You are eligible to take the exam with the ITI-level syllabus (Subject Code 387 for Field Surveyor, 388 for Draftsman). 👉 Diploma/B.E. Civil Engineering Graduates: You can only appear for the exam with the Diploma Standard syllabus (Subject Code 299). Therefore, regardless of whether you apply for the positions of JDO, Surveyor, Technical Assistant, Field Surveyor, or Draftsman, if you have a diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering, you will be required to write the exam under Subject Code 299.
